Hello!

Friends describe me as a bit quirky, but nothing to be alarmed about. And a bit independent. And a bit of a perfectionist (I’m working on that one). And cute. Make of that what you will!

I aim to keep fit, although I’m not fanatical. I think I have a good balance there – I swim, then afterwards I drink wine.

Have compassion for animals and old people. Can’t stand cruelty in any shape or form.

My current passion is salsa dancing, and I regularly go to classes in the vain attempt to look like the girl from Havana Nights. In fact I’d love to learn just about any kind of dance, although I think I may forgo the style where you stand in a line and wear cowboy boots. However, I’m definitely not a raver or club-goer, preferring to party at home and in the company of good friends.

I’m lucky enough to have travelled quite extensively in the course of my work, witnessing many different cultures and styles. I’ve therefore developed quite an eclectic taste, both in home styling and world cuisine. I work hard and play hard, but definitely enjoy chilling and doing nothing sometimes…

She describes her ideal match thus:

A sharp mind, a pleasantly warped sense of humour and a glint in the eye work for me every time. A man who takes care of himself, but not obsessively so is a ‘nice to have’. A dancer would be great, though not as important as a lover of the countryside, beautiful beaches, and nature, which are essentials.

I really don’t want to be prescriptive though – I’m a great believer that sometimes people just ‘click’, even when they have very little in common.
